Terlis is a forest gnome from the deep primeval forests somewhere on Oerth. He is older for an adventurer, but doesn’t share much about his prior life or why he decided to go adventuring. He clearly studied arcane lore at some point for he is a capable wizard. Judging from his behavior, his primary reason for adventuring seems to be acquiring more spells for his spellbook.
