Thrari (PPP)

Thrari was born during a fierce storm and from an early age displayed an ability to connect with the natural forces of the air and sky. Unlike other dwarves, this was a cause for celebration among the Elderbeard clan. Thrari was apprenticed to one of the shamans in her local clan’s village, but it soon became clear that her magic was of a different sort from that practiced by the other shamans. She was then sent to the Ben-Hekku with the hope that they could mold her talents. However, this also turned out to be a failure. Thrari’s natural gifts grew, but they were not controlled in the same intellectual way that the mages used to control magic. Eventually, Thrari returned to her homeland but decided to take on the role of wise woman or witch. She found a cave away from the village and lived in peace there. People would travel from near and far to seek out her magic. Many would ask for rain or request that she divine the weather in the next week. She found that she enjoyed her life as a loner.

When Kali’s invasion began. Initially, Thrari remained the neutral hermit, but when Kali attacked her homeland, Thrari was drawn into the action, using her natural abilities to defend it as best as she could. Eventually, like so many others, she was forced into the wild, to continue her resistance. There, she met up with a ragtag band of survivors to fight back against the invaders. She still doesn’t feel comfortable in a group but also understands that she can’t go it alone.
